Philip Piro, 40, of 2 Dahl Rd., Merrimack, NH, died July 15, 2003, at Lahey Clinic, Burlington, Mass., after a sudden illness.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, August 7, 1962, he was the son of Frank A. and Frances (Lettieri) Piro. He grew up in Long Island, NY, and had been a resident of Merrimack, NH since 1992.
He graduated cum laude from Polytechnic University in New York with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering.
Mr. Piro worked the past 11 years as an engineer for Skyworks in Woburn, Mass.
Family members include his wife of 15 years, Maria S. (Zabbatino) Piro of Merrimack, NH; his mother, Frances Piro of Raleigh, N.C.; his brother, Angelo Piro of Wilmington, N.C.; his sister, Maria Baluis of Garner, N.C.; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday July 19, 2003 in St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Encryptment followed in Mount Calvary Mausoleum.
