Philip H. Raymond, 55, of Manchester, died March 19, 2004, at a local health care facility, after a brief illness.

Born in Manchester, March 11, 1949, he was the son of Roland G. and Claire (Lampron) Raymond. He had been a Londonderry resident for 23 years before returning to Manchester two years ago.

Mr. Raymond graduated from Bishop Bradley High School in 1967. He earned a BA degree in mathematics from St. Anselm College in 1972, and a BS degree in electrical engineering from Notre Dame University. He later earned a Masters in business administration from Western New England College in Springfield, MA.

He worked as an electrical engineer for a time at NCR, then at Digital Corporation, and later at Benchmark Electronics. He was most recently employed by Selectron.

He was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Epping.

Family members include his wife of 32 years, Susan (Strout) Raymond of Manchester; a daughter, Allison C. Raymond of Goffstown; a son, LTJG Christopher G. Raymond, US Navy of Goffstown; a sister, Diane B. Raymond of Hollis; 2 nieces and several nephews.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday March 23, 2004 at St. Joseph Church, Epping. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
