Philippe Lesnyk

Philippe Lesnyk, 73, of Manchester, died May 27, 2003, at Catholic Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

Born in Manchester, February 8, 1930, he was the son of John and Catherine (Kochura) Lesnyk. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

Mr. Lesnyk worked for Granite State Packing for 21 years.

He was well known for his professional skills in bowling, and horseshoes, at various city clubs. He enjoyed playing bingo and spending time at the family property on Suncook Lake.

Family members include his wife of 50 years, Claire (Faucher) Lesnyk of Manchester; six children, Danielle Dooly of Goffstown, Michael Lesnyk of Center Barnstead, Charlene Sullivan of Manchester, Mark Lesnyk of Hooksett, Ann Marie Woodlock, and John Lesnyk, both of Manchester; four granddaughters, Sara, Beth, Nicole, and Katherine; several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday May 30, 2003 in St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
