Phil was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish and served as a member of the consolers group. He had been an active parishioner of St. George until its merging with St. Joseph. He was a member of the Legion of One Thousand Men of the Precious Blood Monastery. He honorably served six years in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. He loved gardening and landscaping; enjoyed extensive travels with his wonderful wife, Pierrette, throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe. They wintered in Bonita Springs, Fla., for fifteen years after his retirement.
Phil is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Pierrette G. (Roy) Parent. He leaves behind two wonderful sons, Pierre and wife Sharon of Manchester; Andre and wife Linda from Hermon, ME, as well as two grandsons Christopher and Brian; his brother Jacques Parent of Manchester; several nieces, nephews and dear friends. He is predeceased by his brother Pierre Paul Parent.The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Community Hospice House for their compassion and care during these last few months.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at St. Catherine Church. Committal prayers followed in Mt.
