She was born in Manchester on May 6, 1910 to Walter and Emma (Perry) Daniels. She lived in Manchester until 1976 when she moved to Margate Florida with her husband Dr. David Blanchard upon his retirement. She divided her time between Florida and their cottage at Pleasant Lake in Deerfield NH until 1988. She then stayed in Florida until 2001 and returned to NH after her husband passed away.
She was very active and held numerous positions in the Auxiliary to the NH Optometric Association, the State Chapter of the American Cancer Society and the Deerfield Garden Club. She was a parishioner of the former St. Anne Parish and was very active there also.
Her greatest enjoyment was ballroom dancing, and entertaining their numerous friends. She loved her family and grandchildren and enjoyed them all summer at the lake. She will be remembered for her great love of life and always being very gracious and appreciative of everything done for her in the last years of her life.
Family members include 2 sons, Richard and his wife Sandra of Arizona, Dr. Robert and his wife Jacqueline(Laflamme),of Deerfield, NH; 6 grandchildren, David and his wife Theresa(Bolieau)Blanchard,Marc Blanchard, Michael and his wife Jennifer(Landry)Blanchard,Gregg and his wife Anne (Bolieau) Blanchard, Denise and her husband Michael Menard, Susan and her husband Patrick Dowd; 4 great grandchildren, Tyler and Kyle Menard, Olivia and Jack Dowd. She was predeceased by her sister Margaret Boulanger, her brother Walter Daniels and daughter in law Aurore Rau.
Burial took place in St. Joseph Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
