Priscilla Francoeur Poirier, 72, of Hampton, NH and Singer Island, FL died October 29th, 2016 at the Exeter Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Goffstown on May 18th, 1944, she was the daughter of Robert G. and Yvette F. (Trottier) Francoeur Sr. She was educated in the local school system and attended Rivier College.
Prior to retirement, she had been a self-employed hairstylist, teacher and had also worked for both the telephone company and her husband's business Pear Tree Construction
Priscilla was an avid bridge player who enjoyed gardening, reading and solving Sudoku puzzles. She will be remembered as a wonderful gourmet cook who cherished time spent with her family.
She was predeceased by one brother, Robert "Bob" Francoeur Jr and her brother-in-law Charles A. Dusseault.
Family members include her husband of 26 years, Wilfrid Poirier of Singer Island, FL and Hampton, NH; three sisters, Frances Dusseault of Goffstown, NH, Diane "Dee Dee" Hawkins and husband Ralph B. of Sunapee, NH, and Marie Ann Francouer of Manchester, NH; sister-in-law, Marie Marthe Poirier of Magog, PQ, Canada; several nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, great-great nephews and great-great nieces; cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends. She is also survived by her beloved dog "Mikey".
A memorial Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, November 4, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Meetinghouse Road, Bedford . Urn burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Rainbow Theater Inc of New Hampshire, Care of Charlene Nichols, 8 Preston St, Goffstown, NH 03045 to support special needs adults' theatrical performances.
