Rachel M. Bisson, 78, of Manchester, died January 21, 2005, at the Elliot hospital after a long illness.
Born in Proctor VT on August 19, 1926, she was the daughter of Louis and Melinda(Moynihan) Vigneau. Rachel had been a parishioner of St. Pius X parish. Her husband, a proud Marine, Ernest "Harvey" Bisson predeceased her in 1998.
Rachel had been a volunteer for the American Red Cross for many years. She was an avid bowler at the Lake Side Lanes.
She and her husband had traveled throughout the United States, Europe, and had visited Australia and Holland.
Family members include three daughters, Geraldine Dionne, of Manchester, Corrine Miville, of Litchfield, and Mary Priolo, of Pembroke; a son, retired Manchester Fire Lieutenant, Gary Bisson, of Weare; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 sisters Marjorie Jache, of Manchester and Geraldine Lemire, of CT; several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday January 16, 2005 in St. Pius X Church, Candia Rd., Manchester.
Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
