Rachel S. Bourassa, 76, of Manchester, died March 12, 2002, at Catholic Medical Center, after a sudden illness.
Born in Manchester, May 11, 1925, she was the daughter of Edouard and Annie (Boisvert) Provencher. She was a lifelong resident of this city.
Mrs. Bourassa was a communicant of St. Therese Church. In addition she was a member of the church's prayer line as well as serving on the mercy meal committee.
Family members include her husband of 51 years, Henry H. Bourassa of Manchester; 2 sons, Norman H. Bourassa of Concord, and Paul E. Bourassa of Manchester; a daughter, Doris I. Marr of Goffstown; 7 grandchildren; a brother, Leonard Provencher of Hooksett; a sister, Irene Cartier of Manchester; nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Friday March 15, 2002 in St. Therese Church.
After cremation, urn burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
