Rachel I. Delisle, 79, of Manchester, NH, passed away on September 9, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on May 22, 1936 and was the daughter of George and Yvonne (Lavoie) Roy.

She attended local schools and later worked over 30 years as housekeeping manager at Catholic Medical Center. She volunteered at fundraisers for the Manchester Boys and Girls Club and helped many underprivileged children while working at CMC. She also volunteered many hours at the local animal shelter caring for animals which she loved.

Rachel was happiest when she was surrounded by her family. A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she will be deeply missed by those who loved her including her beloved dog Katie.

Members of her family include three daughters, Carol Lapierre and companion James Athas of Goffstown, Linda Belden and her husband Edwin of NY, Susan Bouthiette and her husband David of Manchester, her two sons, Mark Delisle and his wife Denise of Manchester, Michael Delisle of New Boston; 4 grand children, Kevin Lapierre of Manchester, Justin Shelton of PA, Samantha Shelton of NY, Scott Shelton of TN; 2 great-grandchildren, Logan and Alayna Lapierre; a brother, Robert Roy and wife Denise of Goffstown; two sisters, Claire Davis and her husband Millard of Hooksett, Doris Dezainde and her husband Maurice of Manchester; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother George Roy.

A memorial service took place on Friday, September 11, 2015 in the chapel at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, Manchester. Encryptment followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
