Rachel T. (Danielson) Lambert, 96, of Manchester died July 26, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Goffstown on April 10, 1927, she was the daughter of Raoul and Lea (Lesmerises) Danielson. She was educated in the local school system.
Prior to retirement, she had worked for Manchester Knitted Fashions and Pandora Mills in Manchester for many years.
Rachel loved arts and crafts, puzzles and decorating for the Holidays.
She and her husband wintered in Estero, Florida for several years prior to moving back to the Manchester area full time.
She was predeceased by her husband, Henry P. Lambert in 2002, as well as her sisters, Grace Kurtz and Claire Camire.
Her family would like to thank the staff at Mt. Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for the wonderful care they provided Rachel during her stay.
Family members include her children, Frances Lavoie and husband John of Manchester, Paul Lambert and wife Marny of Auburn, Diane Zelonis and husband Larry of Manchester; two grandchildren, Jennifer Lavoie and fiancé Roland Groux, Jeffrey Lavoie and fiancée Candace Comer; several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Visiting hours will be at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, on Saturday, July 29th from 9 to 10:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Mt. Carmel Nursing Home, 235 Myrtle St, Manchester, NH 03104.
