She was born in St. Edwidge, PQ, on June 24, 1927, the daughter of Cyrille and Rosa (Gardner) Scalabrini, their 14th of 15 children born.
She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and cherished "Memere" to her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, knitting, and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her entire family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
She was a long-time communicant of Sacred Heart Church.
Family members include her husband of 45 years, Jacob Rouleau of Manchester; one daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Bill Papp of Hooksett; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Amanda Rouleau of Manchester; three grandchildren, Olivia and Benjamin Papp and Abigail Rouleau; two sisters, Fernande Lapointe of St. Isidore, PQ, and Olivette Mason of Sherbrooke, PQ; numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Jean Rouleau in 1977 along with 12 of her siblings.
The funeral Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, July 5, 2008 in Sacred Heart Church. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
