Rachel M. Royer

She was born in Manchester March 3, 1926 the daughter of Alide and Emelia (Mayette) Faucher. She lived most of her life in Manchester and had been a Deerfield resident the past 3 years..

Rachel had worked at Manchester Knitted Fashions for several years. She also volunteered at the Catholic Medical Center gift shop as well as the Cashin Senior Center. She was a member of the Alpine Club.

She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Ira "Jack" Royer in 2008 and by a son, David Royer in 2009.

She leaves a son, Dr. Ronald I. Royer and his wife, Linda of Northwood; a daughter in-law, Lisa McCloskey; two grandchildren, Marc Royer and his wife, Melissa, and Steven Royer and his wife, Amy; two step grandchildren, Andrew Dubisz and Caitlin Dubisz; four great grandchildren, Reese, Rachel, Avery and Benjamin Royer; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Rachel will be remembered for having touched the lives and hearts of many people.

Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery where a committal service took place on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
