She was born in East Charleston, VT on August 5, 1932 to Lyle and Mary (O'Hare) Hopkins. She lived for many years in East Charleston and the Manchester area.
Among several occupations, she worked as a waitress and as a nursing assistant providing home health care.
Rae enjoyed camping at Cascade Camp Ground in Loudon and was a big fan of country music and Elvis Presley.
She was married to Maurice A. Perrin who died in 1994.
The family includes a daughter, Catherine Perrin and her husband, Glen Millard, of Manchester; three grandchildren, Jordan Millard and Mikayla Millard both of Manchester and Leah Millard of Dorval, Quebec, Canada; a foster son, Dixon Gray of Penacook; two "adopted" children, Kelly Carter of Hooksett and Tami Houston of Goffstown; a sister, Rita Fanning of Texas; a brother, Richard Hopkins of Florida and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral ceremony was held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Manchester Christian Church, 1308 Wellington Rd., Manchester. Private burial is at Woodmont Cemetery in E. Burke, VT.
