Born in Manchester on February 6, 1934, he was the son of Aime and Eva (Helie) Brule. He graduated from St. Marie High School.
Prior to his retirement, he had worked as a mechanic for the City of Manchester Parking Meter Division for many years. Previously, he had been employed by United Shoe, Dorson Fleisher Shoe Company, and Members First Credit Union.
He enjoyed ice fishing and was a member of the Alpine and Rimmon Clubs. Above all else, he will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who loved spending time with his family.
Family members include his wife of 60 years Patricia (Eddinger) Brule of Manchester; his sons, Raymond Brule Jr., Robert Brule and his wife Sue, and Paul Brule and his wife Davida, all of Manchester; his daughters, Marie St. Amand and husband Rene of Manchester, Sandra Morrison and husband Barry of Weare; nine grandchildren, Jeffrey Brule and wife Tiffany of Hillsboro, Jennifer Gould and husband James of Holderness, Ashley, Rebecca, and Matthew Brule of Manchester, Ben Brule and wife Melissa of Manchester, Heather Brule of Haverhill, MA, Stephanie Brule of Hampstead, Zachary Morrison of Weare; three great-grandchildren, Connor and Cooper Brule and Bentley Dupuis of Manchester; nephews, nieces and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister Pauline Caron.
A memorial Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Parish of the Transfiguration, corner of Alsace and Kelley Streets. Committal prayers followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
