Raymond G. Chaput, 74, of Manchester, died June 16, 2004, at the Elliot Hospital, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Manchester, August 3, 1929, he was a son of Joseph and Adeline (Turgeon) Chaput. He had been a Manchester resident most of his life.
Mr. Chaput served in the army during the Korean War.
He retired as linen supervisor at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Manchester where he worked for 31 years.
He was a communicant of St. Pius X Church.
Family members include his wife, Rose M. (Porter) Chaput of Manchester; two brothers, Ernest Chaput of Pembroke, and Everett Chaput of Allenstown; nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday June 19, 2004 at St. Pius X Church. Burial followed in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Allenstown.
