Raymond Lee Johnson Sr., 60, formerly of Manchester, died September 14, 2004 in Portland Oregon.
He was born in Claremont, NH on May 11, 1944, the son of John and Esther (Lemaire) Johnson. He served in the US Airforce during the Vietnam War.
Until his retirement, he had been employed in the maintenance department at the VA Medical Center in Manchester. He had been a member of the Workmen's Club.
He was pre-deceased by a son, James Mason, who died in 2003.
Members of his family include three sons, Brian Mason of Manchester, Scott Johnson of Manchester, and Raymond L. Johnson Jr. of Portland, OR; Two daughters Kim Dubuc of Manchester and Robin Dupont of Weare; 10 grandchildren; One brother Herbert Johnson of Manchester; Two sisters Becky Gelinas and Linda Isabelle both of Manchester; Many nephews and nieces.
A memorial mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Catherine Church on Monday September 20, 2004. Burial followed in NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
