Raymond P. Lambert, 74, of Manchester, died July 22, 2021 after a period of declining health.
He was born in Manchester on April 12, 1947 to Wilfrid and Antoinette (Paradis) Lambert. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Raymond spent most of his career in the banking industry in the greater New Hampshire area and retired as a commercial lender from Provident Bank.
He served in the U.S. Army Reserves for many years and was a member of the American Legion Sweeney Post in Manchester. He was active in Junior Achievement and the United Way and was a member of the Nashua Chamber of Commerce and Nashua Rotary Club.
Raymond enjoyed golf and was a former member of the Derryfield Country Club and Candia Woods Golf Links. He was also a member of the Londonderry Fish and Game Club and was a ski instructor in NH for many years. He was an avid fly fisherman, fly tyer and all-around sportsman.
He was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Pauline Lamy.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Debra Lambert of Manchester; a son, Chris Lambert and his wife, Laura, of Brooklyn, NY; two grandchildren, Georgia and Graham and two nieces, Michelle and Judy.
SERVICES: Calling hours are Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Pius X Church, 575 Candia Rd., Manchester. Committal prayers will follow at St. Augustin Cemetery, South Beech Street, Manchester.
