Raymond G. Roy Sr., 60, of Goffstown, died September 3, 2002, at Catholic Medical Center after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester, February 22, 1942, he was the son of the late Emile Roy and Lena (Soucy) (Roy) Walsh of Manchester. He lived in Vancouver, WA for several years and had been a resident of Manchester and Goffstown most of his life.
Mr. Roy worked as an assistant supervisor of environmental services for the Groton School, Groton Mass.
Family members include his wife, Rosemary (Blanchette) Roy of Manchester; 2 daughters, Deborah Lemire of Manchester and Pearl Parent of Vancouver, WA; a son, Raymond G. Roy Jr., of Vancouver, WA; 2 grandchildren, Jeffrey Lemire and Rebecca Roy; his mother of Manchester; a brother, Richard Roy of Manchester; nieces and nephews.
A memorial reception was Friday September 6, 2002 in Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St. A service of remembrance took place at 8 pm.
Burial was at the convenience of the family.
Memorial donations may be made to the NE Heart Institute at Catholic Medical Center, 100 McGregor St., Manchester.
