Rejean J. Lavigne, 61, of Auburn, died May 14, 2007 in Elliot Hospital. He was born in Canada, March 10, 1946, and was the son of Edouard and Emilia (Fortin) Lavigne. He had been a member of St Peter's Parish for all of his adult life.
Rejean was employed by the City of Manchester Highway department for over 29 years, retiring in 2000. He will be remembered for his love of gardening, swimming, traveling with his R.V., and motorcycle, his Harley Davidson memorabilia collection, and his antique cars. His friends and relatives will always remember the house parties at Rejeans home.
Family members include his wife of 5 years Denise (Provencher, Proulx) Lavigne, of Auburn; his children, Joanne O'Brien, of Auburn, Jean Lavigne, Andrew Lavigne, both of Manchester, David Lavigne, Denis Lavigne, both of Epsom; his step-children, David Proulx, of TN, Kevin Proulx, Daniel Proulx, Rick Sylvia, all of Manchester; 14 grandchildren; 2 sisters Jacqueline Lavoie, of Canada, Huguette Argo, of Pinardville; 5 brothers, Jacques Lavigne, of Manchester, Clement Lavigne, of Hooksett, Reginald Lavigne, Bernard Lavigne, Paul Lavigne all of Pinardville.
He was predeceased by his first wife Lillianne Lavigne in 2000.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday May 18, 2007 in St. Peters Church 567 Manchester Rd. Auburn NH.
Burial took place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd. Manchester.
