Renald R. "Ron" Lavigne, 78, of Goffstown, NH died March 26, 2021 at his residence after a brief illness.
Born in Biddeford, ME on June 14, 1942, he was the son of Romeo and Jeannette (Daudelin) Lavigne. He served for many years in the US Army National Guard during the Vietnam Era.
Prior to retirement, Renald had worked at Anheuser-Busch for over 30 years.
Ron loved spending time on the water fishing with his wife, brother Roland and grandchildren. He also was a longtime youth sports coach including the Manchester Flames and Little League baseball. Along with his love of the outdoors, he was active in his community through volunteering with his wife at the local Food Pantry and St. Lawrence Church in Goffstown.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Janet C. Lavigne in 2000.
He will be missed by his wife, Dallas (Cody) Mahoney Lavigne of Goffstown; two children, Diane Lavigne of Portsmouth; Daniel Lavigne and wife Diane of North Hampton, NH; two grandsons, Henry and Spencer Purple of Portsmouth, brothers Roland and Rene of Goffstown, NH; Roger of New Durham, NH; Richard and his wife June of Albuquerque, NM and Robert of Franklin, NH. As well as, step children Patricia Gentilhomme and husband Scott of Milford, NH; Timothy Mahoney and wife Kristi of Stuart, FL; Kathleen Carrier and husband Steven of Albany, NH and 9 step grandchildren.
Calling hours with masks required and social distancing practiced will be Monday, March 29th from 5 to 7 pm at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, Manchester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 am in St. Lawrence Church, Goffstown. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
