Rene D. Lavoie, 55, of Manchester, died March 30, 2017 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon after a period of failing health.
He was born December 13, 1961 in Magog, P.Q. the son of Gilbert and Berthe (Picard) Lavoie. He had been a Manchester resident most of his life.
Rene worked in construction as a drywall installer.
He was predeceased by his father, Gilbert Lavoie and by a brother, Andre Lavoie.
He leaves a daughter, Jennifer Lavoie-Trombley of Penacook, NH; a granddaughter, Emma Trombley; his companion of many years, Donna Mailhot of Londonderry; his mother, Berthe Lavoie of Manchester; a sister, Suzanne F. Soucy and husband Jean-Yves of Goffstown; a sister in-law Andree Lavoie and her significant other, Hubert Cote of Manchester; many nieces and nephews.
A prayer service was held on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, NH.
Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
