He was born in St. Gedeon, P.Q. to Wilfrid and Angelina (Lachance) Lambert.
He was a graduate of Laval University Medical School and later served in the Canadian Army Reserve. He then moved to Michigan where he trained in psychiatry for 5 years at Munson Hospital in Traverse City. He worked at the NH State Hospital in Concord for a year and then obtained a psychiatric appointment at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Manchester. He had been in private practice in Manchester for many years.
Family members include his wife of 50 years, Ubaldine (Desjardins) Lambert of Manchester; a son, Denis J. Lambert of Manchester; a daughter, Lisa Cargill of Broadview Heights, OH; five grandchildren, Tanya, Shawna, Stacey, Andrea and Kaley; two great grandchildren, Gabrielle and Maysa.
A private service took place at the Elliot Hospital.
