Rene B. Poisson, 86, of Manchester, died November 29, 2006, at Catholic Medical Center after a period of declining health.
He was born in Kinsley Falls, Quebec, October 7, 1920, and was the son of Arthur and Annie Poisson. He had been a Manchester resident for many years.
Mr. Poisson was a retired carpenter. During his retirement he worked as a sexton at the former St. John the Baptist Church.
He enjoyed gardening.
He was married to Marielle A. (Rondeau) Poisson, who died in 1986. He was also predeceased by a daughter, Francine (Poisson) Corriveau in 1984.
Family members include four sons, Rejean Poisson and his wife Cecile, of Hooksett, Michel Poisson and his wife Olga, of Seattle, WA, Marc Poisson of Boston, MA, and David Poisson of Manchester; two daughters, Sr. Nicole Poisson, P.M., and Louise Brow and her husband Russell, all of Manchester; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday December 2, 2006 at Parish of the Transfiguration. Burial wwas in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
