Rene R. Bedard, 59, of Goffstown, died unexpectedly on July, 7, 2021, at his residence.
Born in Manchester on July 5, 1962, he was the son of the late Rene and Doris (Turgeon) Bedard. He was a graduate of Goffstown High School, class of 1981, and a lifelong resident of the area. He worked as an ironworker with Local 7 for 20 years.
Rene was fondly known as "Pork". He was a member of Cercle National Club and P.A.C. in Pinardville.
He enjoyed deep sea fishing and had a passion for hot rods and motorcycles. He was a true car enthusiast. He was a "class clown" and lived life to the fullest, despite any hurdles that he came to in life. He was a friend to all and was the most dedicated father that there could ever be. Above all else, he will be remembered as a loving father, brother, uncle and friend.
Family includes his son, Rylan J. Bedard of Goffstown; five siblings, Laure Huff of Manchester, Paul Bedard and wife Nancy of Goffstown, Marie Silva and husband David of Goffstown, Jean Bedard of Goffstown and Elise Cote and husband Philip of Goffstown; many nieces and nephews, and their spouses, and great nieces and nephews; mother of their son, Kim Mitchell of Goffstown; and step daughter, Lexi Morrell of New Ipswich. He was predeceased by both parents; and his brother-in-law, Tim Huff.
SERVICES: Calling hours are from 4 pm to 7 pm, with a Service of Remembrance starting promptly at 7 pm on Monday at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester, NH 03104. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rene's memory may be made to: American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202.
