Born in Manchester on May 21, 1941, he was the son of Rene and Lucille (Delage) Bergeron. He grew up in Manchester, then lived in Allenstown for many years.
He served in the NH Air National Guard and was activated during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
Mr. Bergeron worked for Manchester Sand and Gravel for many years. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 633.
The family includes his wife of 47 years, Rose T. (Murray) Bergeron of Allenstown; three children, David R. Bergeron of Manchester, Deborah L. Silvia of Claremont and Susan T. Rugar of Clinton Corners, NY; four grandchildren and one great grandson; two brothers, Arthur Bergeron and Leo Bergeron both of Texas; three sisters, Laurette Moulton of Manchester, Lorraine Carle of Merrimack and Claire Silkman of Hooksett; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at St. John the Baptist Church, corner of Main and School streets, Allenstown. A committal service followed at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen.
