Richard W. Blake, 65, of Auburn passed away Wednesday April 6, 2022 at home after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Manchester on July 28, 1956, he was the son of William & Arlene (Sell) Blake. He was a graduate of Central High School, class of 1974. Richard married the love of his life Susan St.Laurent in 1975 and they shared 47 wonderful years of marriage together. He worked for 25 years for the town of Hooksett as foreman at the Hooksett Transfer Station.
Richard loved working on vehicles and going camping. He also loved spending time with his children and grandchildren; they were his world. He enjoyed sharing stories, always having a smile on his face and he will be remembered for his gift of gab. Richard will be missed by everybody who knew him.
Richard is survived by his wife Susan Blake of Auburn, son Richard Blake & his wife Kelly of Bow, daughter Tiffany Ranfos & her husband Eric of Allenstown, grandchildren Liam & Alyssa Blake of Bow and Morgan & Hailey Ranfos of Allenstown and his brother Robert Blake of Weare; along with many other family members that loved him.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be Monday April 11th from 4pm to 7pm at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. A funeral service will be held Tuesday April 12th at 10am at the funeral home, followed by burial at Auburn Village Cemetery.
