Richard J. Charrette

Richard J. Charrette, 76, of Allenstown died October 6, 2021 after a sudden illness.

Born in Manchester on November 6, 1944, he was the son of Joseph and Eileen (Doherty) Charrette. After graduating high school, he served in the US Air Force prior to his honorable discharge in 1966.

He and his son have owned and operated Charrette Flooring for many years.

Richard loved watching all sports, especially when his grandson Mathew was playing. He enjoyed travelling, being outdoors and spending time with his family.

He was predeceased by his parents and sister, M. Sandra Bernard in 2013.

Family members include his loving wife of 52 years, Julia (Prive) Charrette of Allenstown; his son, David Charrette and wife Lisa of Freedom, NH; his grandson, Mathew Charrette and granddaughter, Casey Charrette, both of Freedom; his brother, Ken Charrette and wife Susan of Manchester; several nephews, nieces and cousins.

There are no public calling hours. A graveside committal service will be held on Tuesday, October 12th at 10 am at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Road, Manchester.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation, 269 Hanover St, Hanover, MA 02339 or to the Disabled Americans Veterans, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250.
