Richard J. Donahue

Born in Malden, MA June 24, 1925 he was the son of Bernard and Adeline (MacNeill) Donahue.

He served in the US Navy during WWII.

Mr. Donahue worked as the plant manager for New England Homes in Greenland, NH for over 30 years. He was also the proprietor of El'Rancho Rainbow Arabian a family owned horse ranch in Georgetown, MA.

In his Life: Mr. Donahue was a loving husband and devoted father. He was pre-deceased by his brother Francis Donahue.

Mr. Donahue is survived by his wife of 54 years Ruth (Schwartz) Donahue of Manchester; a son, Richard G. Donahue of Tewksbury MA; a daughter, Jennifer H. Richardson of Somersworth, NH; 5 brothers, Bernard Donahue Jr. of Lynnfield, MA, Bradford Donahue of Newburyport, MA, Ronald Donahue of Peabody, MA, Daniel Donahue of North Hampton, NH, Robert Donahue of Conway, NH; 3 sisters, Frances Cussack-Burrell of Westboro, MA, Marie Mueller of Reading, MA, Ramona Donahue of Topsfield, MA; several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday January 4, 2005 in St. Catherine Church, 225 Hemlock St., Manchester. Burial was at the convenience of the family.
