Hooksett

Richard L. Jacques, 76 of Hooksett, NH passed away after a period of declining health. He was surrounded by his family at home like he wanted.

Born October 10, 1946 in Lowell, MA, he was the son of Louis E. & Florence (Boisvert) Jacques.  Richard graduated from Lowell High School.  He entered the Air Force and then the Air National Guard for a total of 20 years of service. He received his Associate’s degree from Manchester Community College and became a machinist. His most recent place of employment was Granite State Machine in Manchester, NH.

A longtime resident of Hooksett, he was an active member with the Knights of Columbus there. He was a communicant of Holy Rosary Parish in Hooksett as well.  He enjoyed reading, coin collecting and just being with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Aida (Castro) Jacques of Hooksett, his daughter Elizabeth and her partner Michael Russell of Hooksett, his granddaughter Amelia, bonus granddaughters Molly & Isabelle Russell and great-grandson Matthew. He leaves behind his younger brother Ronald of Pelham, NH, his sister Mary (Jacques) & her husband John Ford of Dracut, MA, and his niece Rebecca Ford.

He was pre-deceased by his father Louis E. Jacques (1991), mother Florence (Boisvert) Jacques (2015) and son Louis R. Jacques (1998).

SERVICES: Calling hours will be Tuesday February 7, 2023 from 5 to 7pm at Lambert Funeral Home, 1799 Elm St., Manchester.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday February 8 at 11am at Holy Rosary Church, 21 Main St., Hooksett.
