Richard G. Miller

Richard G. Miller, 83, of Manchester, NH died July 12, 2006 at Lakes Region General Hospital after a period of declining health.

He was born in Lawrence, MA on February 23, 1923, the son of William and Ora (Hamel) Miller.

Mr. Miller was a US Army Air Corps veteran, having served in the South Pacific during WWII.

Prior to retirement, he had been employed in administration for the Disabled American Veterans. Previous to that, he had been employed as an airline mechanic, auto repairman, shoe shop machinist, and by Triesmans Department Store.

He was a former communicant and active parishioner of St. George Church.

He was predeceased by his wife Jeannette O. (Boisvert) Miller in 2004.

Members of his family include one son, Richard G. Miller Jr. of Manchester; one daughter, Elizabeth A. Bates of Ft. Myers, FL; two grandchildren, George Ingle and Jeffrey Ingle; three brothers, Raymond, Clifford, and Franklin Miller; three sisters, Marion, Ora, and Delia; nephews, nieces, and cousins.

A memorial reception at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, was held Monday July 17, 2006. The memorial service followed in the Lambert Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. George Desjardins, former pastor of St. George Church, officiating.
