Richard J. Pellerin, 82, of Hooksett, died August 13, 2016 at Catholic Medical Center after a long battle with COPD.
He was born in Goffstown on August 23, 1933 to Egide and Mary Rose (Thibeault) Pellerin. He lived in Manchester and Laconia for many years before moving to Hooksett 12 years ago.
During the Korean War he served in the U.S. Army.
Richard worked for Keller Products and the Union Leader Corporation for many years. He was a member of the American Legion Sweeney Post, NH Mustang Club and Lone Wolves Car Club. He loved the outdoors and got great enjoyment watching his grandchildren play sports.
He was predeceased by a son, Ricky Pellerin.
The family includes his wife of 61 years, Barbara Pellerin of Hooksett; two children, Tammy Hybsch and her husband, Robert, of Belmont and Marc Pellerin and his wife, Susan, of Bedford; five grandchildren, Taryn, Shana, Jared, Cameron and Nicolas; four great grandchildren, Nolan, Hudson, Raider and Autumn; a sister, Rita Georgeou and her husband, Alex, of Hampton; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
A cemetery committal service with military honors was held on Thursday, August 18, 2016 in the chapel of the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen.
