Richard J. Yezombek

He was born on May 27, 1948 to Frank and Helen (Ekster) Yezombek in Greenport, NY.

He attended Riverhead High School and later entered the US Navy in October of 1966. He was an air control man and received the Vietnam Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.

Richard worked many years as a hardware and software salesman for Digital & Ipswich Companies and was very proud of his success in building professional relationships to help re-sellers grow their own businesses.

He enjoyed his retirement and became an avid sports fan. He loved traveling with his wife and was happiest when spending time with friends and family.

Members of his family include his beloved wife Gail (Weeks) Yezombek of Litchfield; two daughters, Taryn Yezombek of Kansas City, MO and Shara McLennan and her husband Kevin of Deerfield, IL; a step-son, Sean Anctil and his wife Andrea of Dover, NH; a step-daughter, Jennifer Woodfin of New Boston; four grandchildren, Chloe, Maya, Livia, Cayla; three nieces, Lisa, Terri and Yvonne. He was predeceased by his sister Joanne Ruffino.

A memorial service took place on Thursday, February 26, 2015 in the chapel at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm Street, Manchester . Burial was in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
