Risida G. Roux

Risida G. (Lemire) Roux, 88, of Manchester died November 4, 2001 at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home after a period of declining health.

Born in Manchester on December 21, 1912, she was the daughter of George and Delima (Gagne) Lemire. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

Mrs. Roux worked at Chicopee Mills and Manchester Knitted Fashions both in Manchester for many years.

She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne at St. George Church, the Rosebush Garden of the Precious Blood, the Association of Brother Andre of Montreal, and the Community of Living Waters of St. Marie Church.

She was married to Roger M. Roux who died in 1999.

The family includes five daughters, Pauline Boudreau of Manchester, Helen Blier of Florida, Florence Bernard of Hooksett, Lucille Nieweg of Colorado and Jeannine Jackman of Auburn; ten grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated November 7, 2001, in St. George Church. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery
