Rita E. Champagne

Rita E. Champagne, 86, of Manchester, died January 19, 2006, at the Portsmouth

Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Bedford, NH, October 23, 1919, and was the daughter of Benjamin and Olive Godbout. She lived most of her life in Manchester.

Mrs. Champagne worked as a seamstress for Dunn Manufacturing Co. for many years.

She was a member of St. Anthony Church.

She was married to Rene Champagne, who died in 1978.

Family members include two daughters, Irene Champagne of Portsmouth, and Doris Lachance of Manchester; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday January 23, 2006 at St. Anthony Church. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
