Rita Irene (Audet) Cloney, 78, formerly of Manchester, died October 5, 2020 at Bedford Hills after a brief illness.

She was born in Manchester on September 7, 1942 to Alphonse and Hermeline (Labrie) Audet. She lived in Manchester for most of her life.

She worked at Klarmann Rulings in Litchfield for 25 years.

Rita enjoyed crafting and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, John A. Cloney in 2009; three children, Richard Cloney in 2013, Jodie Courtenay in 2014 and Gary Cloney earlier this year; a grandson, Denis Methot in 1989 and a sister, Lorraine Davie in 2000.

She is survived by two children, Sandra Smith and her husband, Scott of Manchester and Kelly Davis and her husband, Henry Davis, Jr., of Goffstown; ten grandchildren, Jeffrey Cloney, Michael Brunelle, Katie Iskra, Patrick Ryan Royce Cloney, Jonathan Sturtevant, Justin Cloney, Emma Akers, Thomas Smith, Abigail Cloney and Benjamin Cloney; seven great grandchildren, Alexia, Christein, Henry, Ava, Justin, Scarlett, and Charlotte and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A cemetery graveside committal service is Friday at 1 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 166 S. River Rd., Suite 210, Bedford, NH 03110.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester is assisting the family with arrangements.
