She was born in Manchester on February 18, 1920, the daughter of Amedee and Obeline (Duguay) Beliveau. She was educated in the local school system.
Prior to retirement, she had been employed by E & R Laundry in Manchester for 25 years.
She was a member of the CWV Auxiliary Chapter 1352, the Daughters of Isabella 1120, and the St. Anne Sodality of the former St. Theresa Parish. Rita enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, solving puzzles and above all else cherished the time spent with her family.
Family members include her husband of 70 years, Robert R. Coderre, deceased in 2010, two sons Richard R. Coderre and his wife Judy of Nashua, N.H., Gus Coderre and his wife Claire of Manchester, N.H.; three daughters Laura R. Geoffroy, and her deceased husband Gerard R.of Lowell, MA, Pauline L. Rivera and husband Carlos of Linn Creek, MO, Louise P. Forsythe and husband Bill of Lexington, SC; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; one sister Mrs. Arnold (Mary Jane) Green of Hooksett; many nephews and nieces.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in St. Anthony of Padua Church. Burial followed in St. Augustin Cemetery.
