She was born in Manchester, April 1, 1921, and was the daughter of Zotique and Marie (Tetreault) Lemire. She was a lifelong resident of this city.
She was a graduate of St. Marie High School and had attended Rivier College.
Mrs. Desrochers had worked for a time at St. Mary's Bank.
She was a lifelong communicant of the Parish of the Transfiguration.
She was active with cub scouts and had been a den mother and committee member of Troop 110.
She leaves her husband of 67 years, Gerard T. Desrochers, of Manchester; four children, Jocelyne Champagne and her husband, Norman, of Manchester, Lyanne Gauvin and her husband, Ronald, of Hooksett, Gerard R. Desrochers and his wife, Judith, of Hampton, NH, and John L. Desrochers and his wife, Cecile, of Manchester; a son in-law, Joseph Sullivan of Manchester; 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; her godmother, Juliette Lamy of Manchester; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Denise Sullivan in 2002.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday May 30, 2008 in Parish of the Transfiguration. Committal prayers followed in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum where encryptment took place.
