Rita J. Goulet

Rita (Gagnon) Goulet, 83, of Manchester died Sunday September 18, 2022 at Catholic Medical Center.

Born in Concord, NH on April 1, 1939, she was the daughter of Everett Gagnon and Juliette (Niquette) Gagnon.

Rita graduated from Concord High School class of 1958.  She was a member of the Hillsborough County Home Guild for 50 years, holding many positions in the organization, a charter member of the former Amoskeag Lions Club, and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 8214 Veterans of Foreign War.  She also managed the Manchester Rams Hockey Team.

Rita was predeceased by her parents, her husband Robert J. Goulet, and her sister Lucille Baybutt.

She is survived by three stepchildren, Richard Goulet & his wife Valerie, Lillian Oczykowski & her husband Tim, & Vivian Goulet; five step-granddaughters and one step-great-grandson.

SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Wednesday September 28 at Sacred Heart Church, 265 S. Main St., Manchester, NH 03102 followed by burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester, NH 03102.  There will be no calling hours.  Lambert Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Union Leader Salvation Army Santa Fund at 121 Cedar St., Manchester, NH 03101.
