Rita J. Hesselberg

She was born in Manchester on February 21, 1920 to Moise and Irene (Cassidy) Boisvert. She lived in Abington, MA and Port St. Lucie, FL for many years before moving to Portsmouth 12 years ago.

Mrs. Hesselberg worked for Atlantic Insurance Company in Braintree, MA for many years.

She was married to Daniel J. Hesselberg, who died in 2001.

IN HER LIFE: The family includes a daughter, Kathleen H. Goldman and her husband, Paul, of Rye; two grandchildren, Matthew D. Manning and his wife, Katherine, and Danielle J. Manning; two great granddaughters, Delaney and Chloe Ann Manning; a sister, Anita B. Metivier and her husband, Bertrand, of Hampton; three nephews, David Metivier, Marc Metivier and Denis Metivier; and a niece, Michelle Small.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Bethany Church, 500 Breakfast Hill Rd., Greenland. The Rev. Dr. Bruce Boria officiated. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
