She was born in Manchester on February 16, 1928 to Albert and Rachel (Dubois) Gentes. She was a lifelong resident of the Manchester area.
She enjoyed quilting, cooking, needlework, music and time spent with family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Raymond A. Houle in 1993, and by two sons, Armand Houle in 1963 and Albert Houle in 2008.
The family includes eight children, Raymond Houle of Deering, Carmel Chrzaszcz of Manchester, Daniel Houle of New Port Richey, FL, Roland Houle and Roger Houle both of Merrimack, Robert Houle of Manchester, Rita Fichera of Maryland and Dianne Matarozzo of Londonderry; and grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday, September 4, 2010 at St. Hedwig Church, corner of Beech and Orange streets, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at St. Augustin Cemetery Chapel, South Beech Street, Manchester.
