Rita I. Labrecque, 97, of Manchester, died at St. Theresa Rehabilitation and Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Manchester on June 10, 1919, she was the daughter of Wilfrid and Eva (Sevigny) Olivier. She was educated in the local school system and was a life long resident of the area.
Rita worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at VA Medical Center for many years. She also worked as a floral designer at Chalifour's Flower Shop, and was a very gifted seamstress. Above all, she will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Rita was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Adrien G. Labrecque, in 1987.
Family includes three children, Suzanne Palmer and husband E. Christopher of Weston, MA, Paul Labrecque and wife Eileen of Hooksett, and Elaine Muller of Gilford; seven grandchildren, Christine Savage, Thomas Palmer, Karen Johnson, Andrew Palmer, Jeffrey Labrecque, Scott Labrecque, and Jonathan Muller; fourteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by four sisters, three brothers, and her son-in-law, Robert Muller in 1990.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Committal Prayers followed in the mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: CCNH, in memory of Rita I.
