Rita M. Isabelle

Rita M. Isabelle, 81, of Manchester, died July 9, 2003, at the Mt. Carmel Nursing Home after a long illness.

She was born in Manchester on May 22, 1922, the daughter of Joseph and Clarilde (Martineau) Lemay. She was a life long resident of Manchester.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Alfred C. Isabelle in 1990.

Mrs. Isabelle was a past Commander of D.A.V Auxiliary, Chapter 18, as well as a Chaplain. She was a member of The Sodality of St. Anne of Ste. Therese, Third Order of St. Francis (St. Augustine), and the Blue Army of Fatima.

The family includes two sons, Richard A. Isabelle, of East Kingston NH and Maurice A. Isabelle of Manchester; a brother, Joseph L.M. Lemay, of Manchester; 2 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren;several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday July 12, 2003 in St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave, Manchester. Burial followed in the St. Augustin Cemetery.
