Rita H. Janelle

Rita H. Janelle, 86, of Goffstown, died November 30, 2002, at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, after a brief illness.

Born in Manchester, January 1, 1916, she was daughter of Lucien and Marie (Doucette) Comeau. She lived in Manchester most of her life and for the past 3 years had been a resident of Goffstown. She had recently moved to the Ward Health Center in Windham.

She graduated from West High School in 1934.

Mrs. Janelle worked 20 years as a sales clerk at Beauregard's in Manchester until 1960. She later worked 20 years at Manchester Gas Co.

She was a loving mother and especially delighted in her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was married to Andre Janelle, who died in 1970.

Family members include a son, Richard A. Janelle of Bedford; 2 daughters, Lorraine J. Roy of Goffstown, and Madeleine R. Perron of New Boston; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a sister, Pauline Vincent of Goffstown; a brother, Maurice Comeau of Florida; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday December 4, 2002 in Our Lady of Mercy Chapel, 21 Searles Rd, Windham. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
