She was born in Manchester, April 20, 1915, and was a daughter of Edouard and Bernadette (Allard) Gendron. She was a lifelong resident of this city.
She was a retired shoe worker.
Mrs. Lesmerises was a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart Church where she had been very active in various church activities. She was a member of the Sodality of St. Anne, Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary, American Legion Jutras Post Auxiliary, and a member of the Retired Federal Employees Association.
She was married to J. Lionel Lesmerises, who died in 1985.
She leaves a son, Raymond L. Lesmerises and his wife, Suzanne, of Bow; two daughters, Muriel Chabot and her husband, Ernest, of Bedford, and Annette Marcoux and her husband, Gregory, of Manchester; 6 grandchildren, Scott Lesmerises, Jay Lesmerises, Peter Chabot, Jodie Chabot, Ryan Marcoux, and Karyn Marcoux; 7 great grandchildren; a brother, Lucien "John" Gendron of Bedford; nieces and nephews.
Her sister, Theresa Gagnon, died June 13, 2008
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, June 16, 2008 at Sacred Heart Church. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
