Rita D. Morrissette

Rita D. (Morency) Morrissette, 93, of Manchester, died May 16, 2017 at Villa Crest Nursing and Retirement Center after a brief illness.

She was born in Manchester on July 1, 1923 to Gedeon and Rhea (Dusseault) Morency. She lived in Manchester for most of her life and in Melbourne, FL for 25 years.

Along with her husband, Rita was co-owner of Flowers by Paul in Manchester for many years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Paul E. Morrissette, in 2007 and four siblings, Adrien Morency, Gilberte Lover, Cecile Nieman and Roland Morency.

The family includes three sons, Paul G. Morrissette and his wife, Ellen, of Goffstown, Conrad Morrissette and his wife, Suzanne, of Auburn and Gerard Morrissette and his wife, Suzanne, of Red Lion, PA; 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; a sister, Jeanne Monty and her husband, Bob, of Manchester; and nieces and nephews.

A funeral ceremony was held on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester. Private burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester at the convenience of the family.
