She was born in Manchester on July 7, 1923 to Napoleon and Isala (Lagrange) Marcoux. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Mrs. Paris retired from the dietary department at Catholic Medical Center. She then volunteered in the gift shop at CMC, Manchester City Hall and feeding of the homeless.
She was a member of the Sodality of St. Anne at Sacred Heart Church, Prime Time, Happy Heart, Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
She was an active communicant of Sacred Heart Church.
Her husband of 46 years, George A. Paris died in 1998.
The family includes ten children, Claire Roy and her husband, Richard, of Goffstown, Diane Carey and her husband, Frank, and Muriel Boisjolie and her husband, Richard, all of Manchester, Lorraine Trudel and her husband, Donald, of Dacula, Georgia, Albert Paris and his wife, Sharon, of Goffstown, Richard Paris and his wife, JoAnn, of Manchester, Gisele Trudel and her husband, Jules, of Suwanee, Georgia, Raymond Paris and his wife, Susan, of Springfield, VA, Anita Clayton and her husband, Robert Jr., of Hooksett, and Paul Paris and his wife, Elisabeth, of Goffstown; 25 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; two sisters, Yvonne Mercier and Therese Gosselin both of Manchester; and nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by a son in law, Rusty Hoffmann; two brothers, Joseph Marcoux and Alfred Marcoux; and two sisters, Mary Ryan and Jeannette Demers.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, September 19, 2011 at Sacred Heart Church, 265 So. Main St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
