Rita Rosina Vachon

Rita Rosina Vachon, 94, of Bedford, died January 29, 2018, at CMC, after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester on August 25, 1923, she was the daughter of Donat and Herminie (Samson) Vachon. She was educated in local schools and worked for many years at RCL Electronics. Rita then worked at St. Peter's Home, where she retired.
When she was younger, Rita enjoyed spending time shopping, vacationing and dining out. She was a very social person with a bubbly personality, and an extremely kind and caring nature. She treasured her time with children not only at St Peter's, but with her own nieces and nephews.
Family includes one sister, Marie Jeanne Vachon; and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, great grand nieces, and great grand nephews. Rita was predeceased by one sister, Doris Lapointe; and two brothers, Maurice and Napoleon Vachon.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Parish of the Transfiguration, 107 Alsace St., Manchester, NH 03102. Committal Prayers followed in the mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
