Rita L. Vaillancourt

Rita L. Vaillancourt, 77, of Manchester, died April 1, 2002, at Catholic Medical Center after a brief illness.

Born in Manchester, July 24, 1924, she was the daughter of Joseph and Ida (Tardiff) Cloutier. She was a lifelong resident of this city.

She retired 3 years ago from George's Clothing Mart where she worked as a seamstress for many years.

She was married to Jack Vaillancourt, who died in 1988.

Mrs. Vaillancourt was a communicant of St. Edmond Church of the Parish of the Transfiguration.

Family members include a daughter, Irene L. Riley of Manchester; a son, Robert F. Vaillancourt of Bedford; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Thursday April 4, 2002 in St. Edmond Church of the Parish of the Transfiguration. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
