Born in Manchester on August 16, 1949, he was the son of Francis E. and Lillian I. (Monahan) Adams. He graduated from the local school system and received his bachelor's degree from UNH. He earned two master's degrees, one in education from Antioch College, and was currently pursuing his PhD.
Professor Adams was the Director of Massage Therapy at the New Hampshire Community Technical College in Nashua.
He owned and operated the Adams Holistic Center in Bennington, NH, where he was an accomplished Massage and Hypno Therapy instructor. He also owned and operated the Adams 1810 House Bed and Breakfast and Holistic Center in Antrim, NH.
His great loves were traveling, teaching, reading and his beloved cat Kohla.
The family includes his longtime companion Richard Gesner of Manchester; one brother, Francis Adams of Manchester; his nephew Mark Lotterhand, his wife Emily, and their son Bryce Lotterhand, all of Townsend, MA; his niece, Amy Dufore, her husband Andy, and their daughter Claire, all of Manchester; his nephew, Jason Lotterhand of Everett, MA; brother-in-law, Mark Lotterhand and his wife Karen; his close friend and associate, James E. Rahn; several cousins.
The funeral service was held Tuesday June 19, 2007 in the funeral home chapel. Burial was private at a later date.
