He was born in Manchester on March 26, 1924, the son of Oliver and Lumina (Lagasse) Beauchesne. He was a life-long resident of the city and attended St. George Grammar School.
During WWII, he served in the US Army and was stationed in Italy.
Prior to retirement, he had worked as a mechanic for Bourque Motor Sales and E&R Cleaners. He had also been a driver for Dobles Chevrolet. For the last 9 years, he had spent his winters in Florida.
He was predeceased by his wife Germaine (Jacob) Beauchesne in 1998.
He is survived by his loving companion Gloria Schmidtchen; one sister, Rita Beauchesne; two sons; two grandsons; four great-grandsons.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday, October 26, 2009 in St. Pius X Church. Burial followed in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the VNA Hospice Program, 33 S. Commercial St, Suite 401, Manchester, NH 03101.
